Merchiston Castle School

Spreading the conservation message through art.

Jacha spent a week at Merchiston Castle School in Edinburgh talking to the boys about Orangutans and the fight they face for survival. He also worked with the boys in their art lessons, showing them the techniques he uses to paint his large ape portraits.

It was a great week spent with fantastic students who hopefully got as much from it as Jacha did. Jacha is looking forward to visiting again in the future.
