Orangutan sculpture made entirely from rubbish collected on the beach
Jacha spent a morning on the beach with Gerallt Evans (artist blacksmith from Tan Lan Metalworks) collecting rubbish that had been washed to shore by the tide or left on the beach by visitors. In just one morning they unfortunately were able to collect a huge amount of waste, Jacha decided to use the material they had collected and make an orangutan sculpture with it.
Cristian the orangutan was born and is on display in the Platform Galeri to remind visitors how important it is to take your rubbish home with you.
