Jacha created a recycling sculpture to welcome some special guests.
In September 2017 Jacha welcomed some very special guests to Betws-y-Coed, Orangutan Appeal UK founder Sue Sheward MBE and Dr. Sen Nathan from the Wildlife Department in Sabah. They came to see how Jacha uses his businesses and artwork to raise money and awareness for Orangutan Appeal UK.
To welcome Sue and Sen, Jacha spent a morning on a local beach collecting rubbish that had been washed up and using it to create a magnificent orangutan sculpture. He has named the sculpture Dr. Sen in honour of Dr. Sen Nathan. The sculpture now sits on the station platform welcoming visitors as they disembark the train!
